Urs Bigger, Managing Partner

Urs Bigger is specializing in legal & compliance consulting services. He has been self-employed since 2004 and is the founder of "eventra - events and training for legal & compliance professionals".

From 2006 through 2010 he was the co-founder and partner of a personnel consulting and recruitment firm in Zurich. Previous positions in his career in the financial industry were head of compliance at Credit Suisse Group, group compliance officer at Julius Baer and head of legal documentation OTC transactions at Credit Suisse First Boston.

In 1998 Urs Bigger initiated the Swiss Association of Compliance Officers (SACO) and held the position of chairman until 2004 when he became its honorary chairman. Furthermore he served as a member of various working groups of the Swiss Bankers Association, the Wolfsberg Group of Banks and the SIX Swiss Exchange Experts Commission for Disclosure Issues.

Urs Bigger graduated from the University of Zurich with a master of law and completed the UBS banking trainee program FIAT.
